Latest Ofsted Inspection at Fitasylum
We’re proud to share that the Level 3 adult learning programmes delivered under our parent company, FLM Training Ltd, have been recognised in a recent inspection by Ofsted.
While the inspection formally applies to FLM Training as the registered training provider, it directly reflects the quality of the Level 3 Sports Massage and Personal Training courses that many of our learners experience through Fitasylum.
Training That Builds Real Confidence
Within the inspection, adult learners were described as:
“Highly motivated and committed to their studies.”
That matters to us.
Because the goal isn’t just for our students to complete a qualification, it’s to leave with the confidence, knowledge and practical ability to actually step into the industry.
Inspectors recognised that learners deepen their understanding through practical application, whether that’s delivering personal training sessions, working with clients, or applying sports massage techniques effectively.
This is exactly what real training should look like.
More Than Just a Qualification
The inspection also highlighted that learners develop a broader set of skills beyond their qualifications.
This includes communication, marketing and digital skills, all of which play a huge role in building a sustainable career in the health and fitness industry .
For many learners, this is the difference between gaining a certificate and actually building a career.
Real Progress, Not Shortcuts
Another key point recognised in the inspection was the improvement in achievement rates compared to the previous academic year. This reflects a clear focus on raising standards, strengthening delivery and making sure learners are supported properly throughout their journey.
It’s not about rushing people through a course. It’s about making sure they leave ready.
A Supportive and Inclusive Environment
The report also recognised the inclusive culture created across the organisation, including the way teaching is adapted to support different learning needs. Learners benefit from structured support, practical teaching and an environment where they can build confidence over time, not feel overwhelmed.
That sense of support is what allows people to step into something new and actually succeed.
Building on Strong Foundations
The inspection confirmed that safeguarding standards are met, meaning learners are supported within a safe and positive learning environment. Behind every course is a structure designed to support learners properly, not just academically, but personally and professionally.
While we’re proud of what this inspection reflects, the focus doesn’t stop here. There is always more to improve, more to build and more to deliver for the learners who trust us with their next step.
