Is this a government-funded personal training course?
Yes! You can have the entire cost of the L3 Gym Instructing and Personal Trainer Course fully funded through the Government’s Advanced Learning Loans. We have a whole page dedicated to how government course funding works.
How the Course Works
We offer personal trainer courses in the North-west with flexible schedules to accommodate most applicants.
The L3 Gym Instructing and Personal Trainer course lasts for 6 months and includes 12 full face-to-face classes with fellow students, including assessment days. We provide the most face-to-face delivery days to ensure that our students truly learn how to be the best personal trainer.
We also provide an e-learning platform to help you get through your coursework, which is set by your dedicated tutor. Additionally, our expert tutors offer weekly support both inside and outside of class days to you and your peers.

Yep, when you've passed your Level 3, you’ll be a fully-fledged PT! The qualification is backed by Ofqual and endorsed by The Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA). Once you complete the course, you will gain 10 CIMSPA points and can become a CIMSPA member, which gives you insurance and membership to start your own business or work for a company.
